Meet Parker!
Our latest foster dog, Parker, arrived last Friday. He’s about a year old and is about 50 pounds. That’s a bit smaller than a lot of our fosters, so it’s a nice change.
He’s a great dog and we’re having a lot of fun with him. His whole body wiggles when he’s happy, and it’s quite a sight to see. He’s learned sit and down and really seems intent on pleasing us. We think he’s a pretty smart little guy.
I managed to capture a couple of videos of him with one of the dog toys in the house. It’s a big kong that you filled with treats. The dog has to knock it down just the right way for a treat to come out of the little hole. Our two dogs (despite their brilliance) can’t seem to figure it out and instead bang on the top of it for a few minutes before wandering away. Take a look at the video of Parker to see how he fared with it. He definitely keeps us entertained with his antics!
Parker is a great name, and what a smart Parker he is with the Kong Wobbler!! Great video, thanks for sharing
OMG I adore him!!
WOW! That’s awesome! I’ve tried a few ‘smart toys’ from another brand without any luck (with any of our dogs/foster dogs)… I might have to try this one. What a smart pup!
I love his floppy ear! He looks like a doll = )
It’s funny Lacey does the same thing with that Kong Wobbler, they remind me a lot of each other!!
That’s too funny! I actually thought he was a lot like Lacey, too! (From the back, he looks a bit like a brindle dog.)
